MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE: F'S IN THE WASHINGTON AND DOUGLASS CLUSTERS SINCE 2012
I'm interested in the continuous improvement of all of the schools in District 2 that are zoned for Washington and Douglass High Schools. This means we use data as a flashlight to see what we can do differently this means we don't use data as a hammer to beat people up. There are 15 schools in District 2 (including North Metro GNETS); however, 23 schools make up the Washington and Douglass clusters. There are 7 schools in the Washington and Douglass clusters that have received grades of F on the state school report cards every year since 2012. For the 2016 State Report Cards 0 out of 23 schools have a grade of A; 0 out of 23 schools have a grade of B; 5 out of 23 schools have a grade of C; 2 out of 23 schools have a grade of D; 13 out of 23 schools have a grade of F; 3 out of 23 schools did not receive a grade. For the 2016 State Report Cards 9 Elementary Schools (or 60%) have a grade of F; 2 Middle Schools (or 50%) have a grade of F; 2 High Schools (or 67%) have a grade of F. And how are the children? Check out the school report cards HERE.

Thank you! The reality is, we must spend time taking a look at our data to improve. It is important to not only look at screen by screen data but also individual student.
